Cute Idea But Some Design Flaws

I bought this magnet set for my grandson who loves anything with fire trucks. He mainly likes to play with the 4 vehicle magnets and stick them to the fridge. We have done a little pretend play by creating a story on the board; like the kitty is stuck in the tree and the fireman saves her. But the fold out board is a bit small for all of those pieces. Where the corners fold, you can’t overlap the magnets on the fold because they won’t stick. He finds that frustrating. The small magnets, like the birds and kittens don’t stick to the board very well because the magnet is too small. I’m hoping in time he enjoys this activity. As of now, I regret buying it.
